The Team

John Dennis
is a Director of Insight Management Solutions. He is a consultant with a wide experience of training and facilitation in Local Government and The Private Sector.

Early in his career John worked for the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. After taking a Degree in Education he went into the private sector working for companies designing business plans and marketing strategies. In the 80s after a spell working in the House of Commons, John returned to Local Government at the GLC. After the abolition of the GLC John set up Insight Management Solutions.

John has developed a particular specialism in research and consultation techniques as well as “Change Management”.

John is a member of the British Quality Foundation and a qualified assessor for the EQF Excellence Model. In addition John works a Peer reviewer for the IDeA.

Terry Linehan
joined Insight in 1990 from a strong public sector background. She spent three years as an education advisor for special needs in Inner London. During this time she was responsible for developing and managing a staff development programme for all 16+ special needs providers within the London Region. She was also successful in achieving nationally recognised accreditation for the programme. Terry has a special interest in learning processes and the practical transfer of learning to the work environment.

Terry provides consultancy, organises management development programmes and designs training materials for Local Authorities, Education Authorities, Social Services Departments, Regional Health Authorities and Voluntary Sector Bodies.

Bob Chapple
has a wide range of expertise implementing successful HR Management and training and consultancy assignments with a range of organisations.

He has a broad operational and human resource management and training background, gained over a period of some 20 years, in both front-line and corporate functions in the private and public sectors.

On leaving the local government sector he has pursued a successful career as an HR and Training Consultant in the public and private sectors where he specialised in Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection, Management Development and Best Value, Partnership Working, and Personal Assessment Development.

Liza Pern - Web Manager - is one of Insight's Directors; she has co-ordinated Insight's development of e-systems and is responsible for the management of Insight's Intranet, Extranet and e-Academy.

Associates
Since 1994 Insight has established an additional team of Associate Consultants with specific specialist areas. These include: Organisational Development, Personnel Management, Marketing, Research, Public and Media Relations, Specifications and Tendering, Quality Systems, Financial Management and Strategic Planning.

Administrative Support
The Insight Head Office is based in Dorset, although members of staff work remotely from all over the country. Our investment in IT facilities over the past few years makes it easy for us to communicate with each other and store much of our material on line. These systems support our programme administration and enable us to push forward our environmentally friendly policy of reducing paper waste and travel costs.
